Saturday we particpated in the Mountair Mile. Our neighbor organized this kids race for charity, and it is now an annual event. Kids can bike, trike, scoot, etc the first 3/4 of the race, and then finish on foot. There is also a competitive, two mile option. The best part is that the course goes right around our neighborhood, so it was pretty much a jaunt around the block with Tate in the stroller for most of the way. You can see how pumped he is to be riding in the stroller when he can see other kids on bikes and trikes. But he ended with an enthusiastic sprint to the finish line, carrying his tiger, Growlers, in one hand.
